On 4th and 5th July the college hosted the annual community festival ‘Our Day’, which saw an array of learners, community members and organisations come together to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities and workshops to celebrate their achievements during the academic year.
Festival goers, who were encouraged to ‘go green’ with their fancy dress for the event, took part in recycled crafts, yoga, NCS bushcrafts, latin dance plus much more.
Atmospheric Interiors very kindly lent us their bar which was used to serve non-alcoholic cocktails, and we were also joined by Creswell Craggs who delivered a workshop on conservation. Autism R Us shared their personal experiences of Autism to educate others, and Kooth offered Information on the services they offer & the work they do to support young people.
The weather was glorious, which added to the vibrant atmosphere, and there were smiles aplenty throughout both days.
