As part of National Careers Week, a number of learners took part in mock interviews with several employer partners that we work with. Toby Carvery, Belper North Mill, Performance Health, Active4Today, Everyone Active and Portland’s own HR department carried out interviews either in person or over Teams.
The interviews were designed to give learners a realistic experience of what it is like to to be interviewed in a professional capacity. Although nervous at first, learners said that they felt more confident after the interview had taken place. The employers were great and offered to carry out more interviews whenever they were required.
