Estates Maintenance & Security Officer

We are outstanding, you can be too.

We are looking for an Estates Maintenance & Security Officer to join our friendly Estates team here at Portland Charity. We are looking for someone to confidently undertake planned and general maintenance and repairs, and to play a part in ensuring our campus buildings are safe and secure for our learners, citizens and staff.

The successful candidate will be experienced in dealing with reactive and preventative maintenance and will possess a range of practical skills, such as decoration, joinery and plumbing. During the working day, you will come into contact with Portland Charity staff, learners and citizens, therefore it is important that you have a friendly and professional approach.

This role is primarily based at our Nottingham sites: Woodborough Road Campus and Forest Road West Campus; however, you may sometimes be required to work at our main campus in Mansfield to meet service demands. As this role involves travel between sites, access to your own transport is essential. Please note that the main location of this role may change in the future in order to meet the demands of the charity.

If you would like a varied role in which no two days are the same, and you would like to join a dynamic and thriving team, we look forward to hearing from you.
