Everyone at Portland Freedom is celebrating a fantastic set of results following several recent external audits and inspections, and we would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team whose hard work and dedication made this possible.
Over the past few months, Portland Freedom has welcomed a number of external partners into the service. We are incredibly proud that each audit recognised the compassion, professionalism and high standards of care provided every day.
These included a Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) Quality Audit, a Mock CQC Inspection carried out by Delphi Care Solutions, a Boots Pharmacy Provider Audit, and the NHS Medicines Optimisation Team’s Annual Audit.
These positive outcomes are a true reflection of the passion and commitment shown by our citizens, frontline staff, managers and wider support teams. Together, they create a safe, supportive and person-centred environment where people are encouraged to thrive.

“To say that I am proud of Portland Freedom and what we have achieved would be an understatement. All areas and teams have worked incredibly hard to improve the quality of the services we offer. We know our quality has improved and that our teams are made up of fantastic staff who truly go above and beyond, giving our learners and citizens the best possible care and opportunities. It makes it even more special when organisations from outside of Portland recognise this too.”
