Developing an Inclusive Workforce

Offering tailored business solutions and support

Developing an Inclusive Workforce

Developing an inclusive workforce requires a degree of planning and preparation, however the business benefits are worth it. Both financial and wider benefits can be realised, as well as contributing to a company’s Corporate and Social Responsibility activities.

Portland College works with high quality partners to offer tailored business solutions and support including:

  • Recruitment services, including identification and sifting of disabled candidates
  • Pre-employment skills training including Traineeships for disabled candidates where required
  • Work Experience placements to see if candidates and potential employers are a good match
  • Apprenticeships for disabled people
  • Specialist vocational qualifications at levels 2, 3 and 4, offering value for money solutions for your staff
  • Support to Employers to access the Department for Work and Pensions ‘Access to Work’ funding

Portland College will tailor its support package to your needs, and will work with high quality partners to ensure you get the best possible service. Portland College’s unique offer can either be integrated into a more holistic offer with mainstream delivery partners to meet the needs of your wider business, or can work with you to offer discrete and tailored specialist support as required.
