The Duke of Edinburgh playing boccia

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly volunteering team as a Newstart Activities Assistant. With a focus on disability sports and art, the Newstart hall offers an exciting calendar of performances, events, fixtures and education programmes for our learners, local groups and wider communities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to help out within the community and wants to make a difference to those with disabilities.

You will be assisting in the setup of the activities by; setting up the relevant equipment, signing in customers, distributing tickets (this only applies to Club Night), general event support and packing away afterwards.

We want all of our customers to feel inspired and empowered. These activities are a great way for them to express themselves in a safe environment.
