About Portland College

We are a vibrant national charity supported by our patron, Her Majesty the Queen. We have been a specialist college for young people with disabilities and associated learning difficulties for over 65 years.

About Portland College discos

The Portland College disco is ran by learners and staff, and is a really important programme which helps our learners and citizens to experience socialising in a safe environment. It also enables them to develop the skills they need to eventually be able to access social events externally, plus all essential skills for developing their independence. Our staff support the learners with related enterprise activities and work experience opportunities, whilst working as part of a team.
