- From the M1 (Junction 27) - Follow the signs Mansfield A608. In 0.3 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd left. At 0.7 miles at the next roundabout, take the second exit. Keep to the left and join the A611. Continue straight through Annesley (Badger Box Public House). Junction with A60, turn right onto A60 towards Nottingham. Portland College entrance is 1 mile on the left hand side.
- From Nottingham - Follow signs to Mansfield A60. Junction with A614. At roundabout take first exit to Mansfield. Continue west past Newstead Abbey Gates (left). Junction with B6020. Continue straight on through traffic lights. Portland College entrance is 0.5 miles on the right hand side.
- From Mansfield - Follow A60 to Nottingham. At junction A611, continue straight on A60 to Nottingham through traffic lights (West Notts College on the right). Portland College entrance is 1 mile on the left hand side.
