The Beeches are custom built business enterprise units, designed to provide a range of specially adapted facilities and services, to support individuals with a disability in setting up their own start-up business. The business centre contains 10 individual units, ranging in size from 8.5 square metres up to 22 square metres, available on licence lease. The shared facility is on ground floor level which also provides a staffed reception area, kitchen and meeting room facilities. |
The Beeches provides an environment which is specifically equipped for disabled access, from height adjustable desks to state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. Supported and operated by Portland College, a national residential specialist college, the business enterprise unit is complemented by the beautiful backdrop of Sherwood Forest.
