Jordan was nominated by employer, and supporter of the college, Richard Fuller MD of County Battery Services Ltd.
Richard said in Jordan’s award nomination: “County Battery Services have only one apprentice at this time but it is felt by all the County Battery Services Team that Jordan Tilley’s personal growth is a shining example to all young people.
“You may say that County Battery Service are very community minded, this may be the case however it is a commercially run business and there is no room for passengers, as the warehouse manager at the time said “I can’t carry him” Jordan against all odds earned the position in the company and as his skills grow he becomes more and more confident.”
Keep your fingers crossed for Jordan, the winner will be announced at the Mansfield 2020 Awards Ceremony on Friday 28th April.
