Getting involved with the National Citizen Service
On Monday 29th April, the first spring cohort of 25 participants departed from Portland College to take part in National Citizen Service (NCS). The group consists of learners from Portland College (pictured right), Landmarks College and Heritage School.

Major Sporting Triumph for Portland College
On the weekend of the 10th and 11th November, Portland College achieved a major first in the sporting arena and their greatest ever sporting accomplishment by being crowned champions at the 31st Rotary Disabled Sports Team Championships.

On Sunday 5th August 2012 a group of Portland staff, volunteers and friends made the long journey to Shap in the Lake District to take on the Total Warrior as part of the fundraising mission for a new Leisure Centre at the College.
