Wedding Fayre donation benefits College
Portland College recently played hosts to a Wedding Fayre organised by local company Wedding Wheels Ltd.
The successful Wedding Fayre took place on the 19th September 2010 on our Nottingham Road campus, with over 250 visitors including 150 future blushing brides! In attendance were a full range of specialist wedding companies offering everything a couple could need as they plan their nuptials. The event took place within the College’s own Hospitality Suite which is available as a high quality wedding reception venue and includes on-site catering facilities, fully licensed bar and experienced expert staff.
All proceeds from the Fayre were donated to the College, and pictured above are Sonia and Mick Overton (left) from Warsop-based Wedding Wheels Ltd presenting a cheque for £300 to Portland volunteer and ex-student Sarah Field, watched on by Hospitality Manager Rachael Harvey and Catering Manager David Powney.
