Portland College retain accreditation for Hospitality

Portland College has recently been once again awarded the Hospitality Assured quality standard for the sixth consecutive year. The standard is designed for customer facing businesses and encourages businesses to look at their own operations and how these can be improved from a customer perspective.

Rachael Harvey, Hospitality Manager said, “Maintaining our Hospitality Assured quality standard is a major achievement for the whole Hospitality and Catering team at the College. Each team member has played a significant role in our achievement of consecutive awards, and with food and hospitality playing such a pivotal role in the life and college experience of our students we are aware of the pressure to maintain very high standards. The Hospitality Assured standard emphasises our commitment to maintaining and developing high levels of service and quality for students, staff and visitors to the College.”

As well as catering for staff and students at the College, the Hospitality and Catering team also hold a variety of events throughout the year. Set in a superb woodland setting and fully licensed, the College offers superb quality conference facilities and an ideal location for a wedding reception.
