Portland Access Centre (PAC)
Portland College’s Access Centre (PAC) utilises the College’s resources to provide a commercial, multidisciplinary assessment service, disability /technology-related training/ support (PAC Training) and also a manufacturing service (PAC Solutions) providing specialist bespoke enabling equipment and adaptations. The Access Centre also offers a short-term assistive technology loan service. PAC also participates in isability/accessibility-related research projects in order to help further the development of assistive technology and software.
The College boasts outstanding resources, both physical (via a fully-accessible, well-equipped 43-acre campus) and human (through an impressive body of highly-skilled and qualified experts in a wide range of disciplines and specialisms).
