There are parks such as Rufford Country Park and the National Trust conservation site Clumber Park. Don’t miss out on the famous Major Oak, Robin Hood’s home and the many National Trust properties within half an hours drive from campus.
If you’re the sporty type then Mansfield has more than enough to keep you occupied with numerous gyms and leisure centres, a swimming complex and athletics track. If you prefer to watch than partake you can always visit the local footy team Mansfield Town FC or travel the short bus ride to Nottingham to see Nottingham Forest or Notts County FC.
